About Superior Precision Rifles, LLC
Ryan Newsome, Owner
ryan@superiorprecisionrifles.com
U.S. Navy veteran with over 18 years experience of high precision machining. His service began at the age of 19 when Ryan joined the U.S. Navy as a Stinger Missile gunner detached to Beachmaster Unit Two in Little Creek VA. Where he was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea during Operation Provide Promise and Operation Deny Flight on board the U.S.S. Saipan to support the no fly zone. After returning from the Med Ryan attended the Naval Training Center San Diego to complete Machinery Repairman (Machinist) "A" school where his career began. After graduation Ryan was stationed aboard the U.S.S. L.Y. Spear where he worked in the approximately 10,000 sq ft floating machine shop to service 10 different submarines and on board repairs. Returning home in 1996 Ryan began working at Florida State University as a Research Designer and Machinist. He is still employed at FSU as a Mechanical Engineer/Machinist to this date. His love for hunting and precision rifles prompted him to open his own shop and begin building some of the finest high precision rifles today.
