My buddy (Don F.) and I shot the Superior Precision Rifles 260 Remington Sunday afternoon at Talon range in Midway. Since they do not have shooting benches built, as of yet, we had to use a picnic table. As the table was too low (forcing you to lean in and over), and not quite as stable as you would like, the conditions weren't optimal. However, I was very pleased with the results. Using 44.5gr of R19, WLR Primers, 130gr Berger VLD Hunting bullets seated to 0.010" off the lands (2,695 fps, SD=12), I shot a three-group average (5-shot groups) of 0.672" at 100 yards; with my best group being 0.537."
I had five bullets remaining and Don wanted to shoot them at 200 yards to see what it would do at that range. His 5-shot group was 1.030" with a flyer, without the flyer, the group would have been 0.346." Pictures of groups are attached. When I asked him what he thought of the rifle, he said "all I can say is Wow." Needless to say, I am very pleased with your build thus far.

Great session yesterday... found a starting point for 190 and 168 SMK. This gun really seems to favor the 168s at 3100 fps. I will be ratcheting them up a bit. 190s are not quite as accurate yet, but found them to fly pretty good at 3000 fps.
I could not fight the temptation to leave the brake on. I put over 100 round through it Friday and Saturday and the Dura Coat is still intact. The brake design works great. The recoil is like shooting a .308...
Thanks again for building such a wonderful piece of art!
